The AutoWeld-BIW6000 is a scanner-based remote laser welding system designed for high-throughput automotive body-in-white (BIW) assembly. Mounted on a 6-axis robot, the remote welding head covers a 600×600mm field of view without repositioning — delivering weld speeds up to 10m/min on galvanized steel and aluminum alloy panels.

Door inner panels, roof rails, A/B/C pillars, floor panels, trunk lids, and EV battery tray frames. Proven in Tier-1 automotive supplier lines producing 200,000+ vehicles/year.
Conventional resistance spot welding requires physical contact and electrode changes every 3,000–5,000 welds. The BIW6000's non-contact remote laser process eliminates electrode wear, reduces fixture complexity, and cuts cycle time by up to 5× — enabling flexible mixed-model production lines.
Explore our complete range of complementary laser processing solutions for medical device manufacturing and EV powertrain production. Each system is engineered with identical quality standards and global service support.
